About
The Company is a pharmaceutical company procuring, storing, manufacturing and dispensing of prescription drugs, over the-counter (OTC) drugs, medical devices, and medications to patients on medical prescriptions. The Chief Superintendent, Oluwafunmilayo Gbadebo is a Pharmacy graduate from the University of Lagos. She studied pharmacy in order to combat the abuse and misuse of drugs in the society.
Product and Services
Our products and services are mainly six. These are Prescription Drugs, OTCs, Provisions, Medical Devices, small scale drug manufacture, and consultancy services
Market
We are in a very good location at Ilupeju which links major access roads across Lagos metropolis. We have a good and well-informed customer-base who trust our services, counsels, and products. Health-care delivery is inadequate in Nigeria. Nigeria has a very high population of about 198 million people with over 75% having inadequate access to good medical services and products. Hospitals and pharmaceutical shops are in dire need. Generally, pharmaceutical businesses are expanding in the Lagos metropolis. Community pharmacies are the first point care of approach to the healthcare system
Marketing and Publicity
We will do Flyers, free blood pressure check, weigh control. We will use Instagram, face book and Whatsapp to advertise
Competition
The Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria has given community pharmacies 100 square meters apart. So we have advantage. There are some big pharmaceutical companies at our market catchment area. But our prices are often better than theirs. Secondly, we stocks brands that are not common but are very efficacious.
SWOT Analysis
Company Strengths: high quality drugs, and Intense R & D (research and development) activities to update pharmaceutical emdex. Weaknesses include: Funds are not enough for us to really stock up on increasing demands by patients. Opportunities include: Very large and expanding market for our brands and products, and high patronage from our large diverse clients, Threats: Only one threat. Some customers prefer cheap and low quality pharmaceutical products.
Reason For Applying_
The Company wants to build an app where drugs can be procured and delivered timely to the patients. To procure drug-making machines and equipments. To acquire two more pharmaceutical premisses at strategic locations in the Lagos Metropolis where we can dispense our manufactured drugs and our professional expertise. To acquire much more prescription drugs and OTCs because these constitute the bulk of customer demands.
Staff and Management
Olufunmilayo is a first class Pharmacist, and a seasoned and astute business woman of high repute in the health-care industry. She was an intern at National Agency for Food & Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC). Olaniyan Tope is the Deputy Managing Director. The Company serves as a platform for young pharmacists to advance in their career.
