Reason For Applying_
The purpose of this request is to enable us to fund and expand our cultivation of Sesame seeds and Hibiscus in the Northern States of Nigeria. It is aimed at empowering 1000 small holder farmers in Sokoto, Kano, Niger, and FCT in the production of 3 major crop requested by our partners and off-takers. Due to limited funds, we are starting the project with 20 hectares of land to cultivate only Hibiscus and Sesame, and 50 smallholder farmers grouped into clusters.

Notes
We also have orders for both crops (Hibiscus 1,000 tons; sesame seeds 3000 tons) and require 4 to 6 months to cultivate, harvest, clean and sell. To ensure high yield, profitability and risk management, we partner with insurance companies and technical experts for example Green Sahara, Agro Trade Service Company and Agricultural Growers Association of Nigeria (AGAN); having skilled agronomist, access to improved seeds and new agricultural technology to ensure maximum yield and reduce post harvest losses.
