Tranquil Ventures Nigeria Enterprises is a sole proprietorship business. We basically run a one stop Store in Ilupeju, Lagos. We bring as many services as possible close to your home. We started when gaps were noticed in our neighbourhood, prospects could not get goods and services within a short distance. The business took off fully about 20 years ago.
Product and Services
We offer household supplies and toiletries, food and beverages, cold store, mobile banking services and also aided shopping services.
Market
We have patrons within and without our Ilupeju, Odi-Olowo LCDA location.
Marketing and Publicity
We intend to have online presence using different social media platforms but are currently riding on referrals.
Competition
Competition is actually wide and varied, from the big superstores to the street vendors but we have the advantage of wide range of stocks for best prices, value added services including arranging what we do not stock just for customer satisfaction and also delivery services.
SWOT Analysis
Strengths – is in growth over the years has made us popular in our space. We know our customers and they know us and can rely on us. Weaknesses – we are a growing concern and there is room for improvement for new products on our shelves. Opportunity – online marketing would definitely open us up to a bigger world. Threats - under capitalisation, funding.
Reason For Applying_
Funding is the bedrock of a business like this. Money is needed to do wholesale, re-stocking to increase the margin, for marketing, improvement of our equipment and uplifting and security of our business premises.
Staff and Management
Yetunde Awobiyi is the business owner. She is a Nigerian, a graduate of Biochemistry from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. She has found her niche in business. she is married with three children.
