Trackama Systems Solutions Ltd is a software company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialise in telematics and have launched our first product, Trackama which we believe is the first tracking platform developed by an African company. Product and Services
TRACKAMA is a vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management system which allows organisations to track their entire fleet realtime in a single view and audit them in comparison with their expected routes for a given period. Trackama puts asset managers / fleet managers in control and enable them to keep an eye on Productivity and Cost. To date, we have installed Trackama in over 200 vehicles (trucks, cars, motor cycles, etc), almost all of which are based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are now in the process of rolling Trackama out in other states of Nigeria and other countries of Africa. We are also developing a new application for delivery companies. WayGraph is a platform where customers will be able to order vehicles for pick ups and deliveries. We expect most of the logistics and delivery companies that purchase Trackama to register on WayGraph.
Market
The market for our products is huge! According to The National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria had about 11,547,236 motor vehicles in the third quarter of 2017. This figure is likely to be much higher in 2020. There are millions more vehicles in other African countries. Also, according to the National Motorcycle and Tricycle Riders Association, there are over 8 million registered motorcycle and Tricycle riders in Nigeria. Based on these figures, we estimate that the total number of vehicle, motor cycle and tricycle owners in Africa that Trackama will be target at is at least 40 million. We are confident of achieving our target of selling about 200,000 trackers in 12 months if we are successful in getting the investment we are applying for.
Marketing and Publicity
Search Engines: Search engines are used by millions of internet users to search for products. Google alone has over 250 million users everyday. Trackama`s website is registered in the most popular search engines used by Africans. Direct Marketing / eMail Shot: We have built a database containing the details of thousands of vehicle owners, logistic companies, etc. and / or owners. Press Releases: In addition to the above, we plan to use the services of well known public relations companies ( like PR 2 Go, Mass Media Distribution, etc) to issue regular press releases – at least once a month. Fiverr.com: Fiverr.com is a website containing details of hundreds of people offering promotional and marketing services for as little as $5.00. Trackama uses the services of some of these people at least once a month.
Competition
Trackama is easily the most affordable tracking system in Africa and in most cases, our trackers cost less than half of the prices charged by other suppliers. The reason for this is because we are the developers of our tracking platform and don`t have to rely on platforms from Europe, North America, China, India, etc like our competitors. Therefore, unless our competitors develop their own platforms, they will be unable to match our prices.
SWOT Analysis
Strengths: We offer the most affordable tracking system. No supplier can match our prices. We have a growing client base operating in both the public and private sectors. The market for Trackama`s products is huge with millions of consumers our products will be targeted at. Trackama has a strong management team made up of professionals with a wide range of skills. - We provide strong data security. Weaknesses: Trackama does not have sufficient resources to market its products at the moment and requires investment. Trackama is also a new product and substantial marketing will have to be done to convince potential clients of the benefits of Trackama. Opportunities: There are opportunities to increase our portfolio of products by developing many new applications such as WayGraph. Threats: The main threat are hackers trying to steal our data or infect our databases with viruses. We have minimised these threats by installing powerful internet security software.

Trackama has a staff force of 15 and the management team is made up of the following: Ezekiel Olatude – Chief Executive Officer: Ezekiel is a chartered professional with over 15 years experience in business management. He has extensive experience in business re-engineering, strategic planning & marketing. Ezekiel has taken up leading role in a number of organizations with notable achievements.. Olusegun Ogunsola – Business Development Director: Olu is a software consultant with over 30 years experience in software development and has worked on a wide range of projects for major clients like National Power, British Steel, Sahara Group, Lagos State Government, Central Bank of Nigeria, etc. Yemi Orokotan – Technology Director: Yemi is a Software Developer with over 10 years experience. He has designed and developed multiple solutions that cut across various business sectors and has successfully led teams in delivering many software solutions.
